3pp Comforter Left Hand Splint

The 3pp Comforter Left Hand Splint is a softly padded splint that allows users to rest the hand to reduce inflammation and morning hand stiffness. This comfortable resting splint for the left hand holds the wrist and finger MP joints in a supported position to prevent them from bending while the user is sleeping. The 3pp Comforter Left Hand Splint is made of Kydex material for firm support. A heat gun is needed to make small adjustments for a custom fit. The splint allows full motion of the thumb and finger distal joints. The splint holds the wrist and finger MP’s straight while the padded metal finger stays bend around the fingers to reduce ulnar drift. Ulnar deviation at the MP joint can affect hand function in performing daily activities. The splint promotes the proper hand alignment during rest to lessen pain and inflammation. The 3pp Comforter Left Hand Splint has neoprene straps with finger holes that allow the user to independently apply and remove the splint even if they have difficulty with fine motor skills. The soft quilted cover is removable and machine washable. To determine the size needed, measure across the finger MP joints with the hand flat. Small fits 2-3/4 to 3 inches, Medium fits 3 to 3-3/8 inches, Large fits 3-3/8 to 3-5/8 inches.
