Food Preparation Board

The Food Preparation Board is an adapted cutting board designed to assist users with weak hand function, or semi-loss of use of one hand, in peeling, slicing, grating and preparing food. This high quality food preparation board is thoughtfully designed to help increase independence in the kitchen. The Food Preparation Board has a solid surface and a removable lid. On the reverse side of the lid are four spikes to keep fruit and vegetables in place for peeling or cutting. Under the lid are three stainless steel bowls: one with a fine grater and slicer, another with a coarse grater, and a collecting bowl. This adapted cutting board is ideal for people with weak grip, poor hand control, tremor, or the use of one hand for slicing cheese, keeping fruits and vegetables in place for peeling and cutting, and preparing food independently.
