The Gait and Transfer Belts Pediatric Stripe feature a metal buckle to easily secure closing and allow easy adjusting. To use, simply wrap the belt around the user’s waist, positioning the raised buckle seam on the outside in front. Push the metal tip of the belt through the buckle, placing it over the metal buckle teeth, and through the other side of buckle. Adjust the belt tight enough that it will not slip, yet comfortable for the user. Excess strap length can be tucked under the strap. To provide assistance for walking or transfers, grab the belt from underneath. The Gait and Transfer Belts are available in 32, 36, 40 and 44 inch lengths.
