MindStart Rainbow Bingo Memory Game

The MindStart Rainbow Bingo Memory Game is an adapted activity game for people of different levels of memory and cognitive ability. Developed by an Occupational Therapist, this bingo game is less complex than standard Bingo games because colors are used instead of numbers. The unique design of the Rainbow Bingo game allows people with high or medium cognitive abilities to play together. The higher level of play involves hearing and seeing the bingo call visual cue card. The medium level of play involves matching large, colored chips to the corresponding circle on the card. Rainbow Bingo encourages matching, identifying patterns for mental stimulation, motor skills, and communication with others. Adults with Alzheimer’s, dementia, head injury or stroke, or intellectual disability can benefit from this cognitive game. The visual calling cards are also helpful for people with poor hearing. Each Rainbow Bingo game includes 4 high level cards, 3 middle level cards, pawns, large chips, calling cards, and user guide explaining uses for all activity levels.
