The Original IMAK Pil-O-Splint is a comfortable resting splint for nighttime use. This splint provides exceptional comfort and support for a stroke hand during resting and sleeping. An orthopedic hand surgeon designed this resting splint to help his patients sleep throughout the night. The patented design features two rigid dorsal stays that are specially shaped to gently immobilize the wrist, hand, and fingers in a comfortable neutral position. The splint prevents positioning the hand and wrist in a harmful bent or flexed position while sleeping. People with stroke arm, wrist pain, or wrist tendonitis will find this resting splint provides maximum pain relief during rest and sleep. The Original Pil-O-Splint is made of foam covered with a soft poly flannel cotton lining. These materials allow the skin to breathe and remain comfortable all night. The splint slides on and off easily and fits either hand. The Original size fits most hands with a forearm circumference up to 12 inches.
