Because wall mounts are not needed, this transfer aid can be moved to any room in a home, including small spaces such as bathrooms. This transfer pole and grab bar provides a secure support for standing or for transferring to a walker, wheelchair or other mobility device. The pivoting Curve Grab Bar has 4 hand grips at 4 different heights and locks in place at eight different points, every 45 degrees. The 4 vertical bars on the grab bar allow the user to gradually ‘climb’ to a standing position using a hand-over-hand technique. The slim design is ideal for transfers in tight spaces allowing it to be installed between the bathtub and the toilet, placed at bedside, or next to a sofa or chair.
