Sure Grip Cup with Lid

The Sure Grip Cup with Lid is an adapted drinking mug for hot and cold beverages. The ergonomic design is easy to hold and the spouted lid helps prevent spills. The Sure Grip Cup with Lid has an ergonomic design helpful for users who need to drink without lifting their head. The flow of fluid can be controlled by sipping on the mouthpiece. The specially designed valve in the lid can be utilized to deliver fluids when the user does not have the ability to suck on a straw, by placing the fingers over the vent holes in the lid. The unique lid design gives the user greater control of liquid flow and limits spillage if the cup is knocked over. On the underside of the lid, there is a rubber valve that covers the two small holes in the lid. The valve creates a vacuum and, even when the cup is tipped over, prevents fluid from spilling out. When the holes in the lid are covered, the vacuum created by the valve is released, allowing a small amount of fluid to flow out. Once the holes are uncovered, the vacuum is once again created. A controlled flow of fluid helps decrease the risk of aspiration, even when drinking while lying down. This adapted drinking cup holds 6.75 ounces and can be used with both hot and cold liquids. The dishwasher and microwave-safe Sure Grip Cup with Lid promotes independent drinking for users who have difficulty using a standard drinking cup.
