The HealthCraft Dependa-Bar Pivoting Grab Bar is a wall mounted grab bar with a connected pivoting and locking horizontal bar. The unique design of the horizontal bar allows it to be lifted, pivoted and lowered to the next locking position for support for users to easily transfer in and out of a bathtub. The HealthCraft Depend-a-Bar Pivoting Grab Bar is a high quality, commercial grade bathroom safety bar with is designed for vertical and horizontal load bearing. People with reduced mobility will find this ADA compliant safety grab bar helpful for sitting and standing support. The bar is installed to a structural wall inside the shower or tub area. The bar is set to the proper height and orientation to optimize the userย’s range of motion. The pivoting horizontal grab bar locks every 45 degrees (5 positions) providing a support rail that moves with the user. The bottom rail can be installed facing either the right or left position depending on the shower or tub is configured. When not in use, the rail conveniently locks against the wall.
