The second step is higher than the first step and together measures 10 inches high. The Senior Safety 2 Step Stool by Shure-Step is designed with the first step 6 inches high and the second step 4 inches higher. The double-walled design with a non-skid surface provides a secure standing surface for users to easily step up. Non-slip rubber pads on the bottom of the frame prevent slipping on wet surfaces. Designed with the input of retirement community directors and physical therapists, this double-step measures 24 long and 13.5 inches wide at the base. The first step measures 12 inches long, 13 inches wide and 6 inches high. The second step measures 11 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 10 inches high. This allows users to step up 6 inches to the first step and then step up 4 inches to the top step. The heavy-duty double-step weighs 12 pounds and is load rated for 500 pounds.
