The HandiWriter Pencil Positioning Aid 4 Pack is an easy to use writing tool designed to facilitate the correct positioning and holding of a pen or pencil. Teachers, therapists and parents in classrooms, clinics and homes will find this writing aid beneficial for users who are learning to write. The HandiWriter Pencil Positioning Aid 4 Pack is recommended for children of any age who have inappropriate grasp patterns. The writing aid consists of a stretch knit band that goes around the wrist, and has attached cord with charm. The soft, cotton stretch knit band, and satin cord are designed to be comfortable for the user to grip and hold. The user places the large soft, cotton stretch knit band loop around their wrist, and holds the charm in the palm of the hand with the little and ring fingers. The user’s thumb, first and middle fingers grasp a pencil and the top loop of the HandiWriter is placed around the top of the pencil. This pulls the pencil back into the web of the hand, and forms the therapist recommended ย“tripod gripย”. The HandiWriter has a dolphin charm, and the SportWriter has a baseball or soccer ball charm. The HandiWriter is available in Red, Blue, Purple & Yellow with a dolphin charm. The SportWriter is available in Black with a soccer ball charm, Red with a baseball charm.
