This light weight reaching aid features jaws that rotates for lifting items in both horizontal and vertical positions. Etac Aktiv Ergonomic Reacher with Rotating Jaws 17.5 inch has a trigger style ergonomic hand grip that is easy to use and comfortable grasp. The handle is angled to utilize the strength in the hand, provides an effective grip, and also features an index finger support for improved precision. The jaws open wide to 2.5 inches, but still grab the smallest item. The jaws rotate 360 degrees by pushing forward, allowing the jaws to be set to two positions. Users can pick up items from a horizontal or vertical position without having to turn the arm. Two rubber cushion tips on the inside of the jaws help grip items. An attached magnet on the handle end will pick up light metal objects. The handle and jaws of this lightweight reaching aid are made of polycarbonate and ABS, the jaw bracket is durable polyamide, and the shaft is aluminum.
