The action of the Seat Boost Assist Lifting Cushion provides a gentle and safe lift of up to 10 inches without pushing the user forward. The patented design of this lifting cushion eliminates the pushing-forward feeling users experience with other lifting seats. This mechanical seat lift does not require electricity, batteries, buttons, switches or locks. The lifting action is activated automatically as the user shifts their weight to their feet and prepares to stand. The seat lifts up to 70% of the user’s weight. This means that 30% of the user’s weight will be required from the user to help maintain their leg strength. When properly adjusted according to the user’s weight, the hydropneumatic gas spring gently and safely lifts the user as far as 8-11 inches as soon as they start to stand. The lifting seat weighs just 8.5 pounds, measures 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 5 inches high and lifts the user 10 inches high. This easy-rise cushion is padded with a super comfortable, slightly curved foam cushion that molds to the user’s shape. Both the cover and cushion are easily washable. For additional safety, the base uses a non-slip material to prevent it from moving and slipping.
