The Posey Large Lateral Positioning Wedge is recommended for positioning patients who weigh more than 180 pounds. This large positioning wedge helps to reduce pressure points over the bony prominences and decreases the risk of pressure ulcers. The Posey Large Lateral Positioning Wedge is a lightweight bead-filled positioning wedge that provides both positioning support and comfort. This large wedge measures 19 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 9 inches high and is easy to use and shape. Unlike foam pillows, this bed positioning wedge does not build up heat. The unique outer vinyl mesh, breathable fabric shell and non-absorbent, polystyrene bead fill allow air to flow through the wedge. More comfortable than a pillow, the lateral positioning wedge helps eliminate pressure to reduce the incidence of bed sores.
