The Achieva SMART Mirror is a shatter-proof mirror designed for mirror therapy for providing visual feedback to increase hand range of motion and decrease pain. Users with phantom limb pain, kinesiophobia, upper extremity pain will find mirror therapy exercises easy to do with this adapted mirror. SMART stands for Sensory Motor Activity Re-Trainer. The Achieva Smart Mirror is designed to be positioned from 90 to 65 degrees for the user to easily view their hand. It is easy to set up for one-handed use while in the clinic or at home. The side has 3 window slits that allow increased air flow and allows therapists to easily observe exercises. The compact design provides protection for the mirror and compact storage. The shatter proof mirror area measures 8 inches wide, 13.4 inches long. Mirror therapy is most effective when practiced daily by people with upper extremity pain due to limited motion, phantom limb, hemiparesis, arthritis, complex regional pain syndrome or hand surgery.
